For this you need LUCI STUDIO with extra instances:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>1 LUCI STUDIO instance <strong>per <\/strong>remote contributor for receiving the audio.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"114\" class=\"wp-image-2664\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"https:\/\/technicadelarte.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Multiple-streams-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/li>\r\n<li>1 LUCI STUDIO instance or &#8220;LUCI LIVE&#8221; or &#8220;LUCI LIVE SE&#8221; for streaming to the podcast server. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"114\" class=\"wp-image-2710\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"https:\/\/technicadelarte.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Podcast.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/technicadelarte.com\/kb\/?page_id=3234\">how-to to setup multiple stream<\/a> licenses with LUCI STUDIO.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are several possibilities to be used by the contributor to \u201cdial in\u201d to your podcast:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>one of our LUCI applications like LUCI LIVE, SE, Lite either as one time buy or monthly subscription. Either in direct point to point mode (RTP) or with SIP, using any audio codec it offers.<\/li>\r\n<li>as a station entry in our <a href=\"https:\/\/technicadelarte.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/LUCI_GLOBAL_LGV2020-07.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LUCI GLOBAL app<\/a> so it wont cost the contributor a dime.<\/li>\r\n<li>with your own <a href=\"https:\/\/technicadelarte.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/LUCI4ALL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">custom made LUCI app<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<li>Any compatible Audio over IP device.<\/li>\r\n<li>Any SIP telephone if your SIP Server allows this.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audio routing between instances<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LUCI STUDIO only routes the audio between installed audio interfaces and has no mixing capacities, so in normal studio setup you would need as many Audio Interfaces as you have incoming streams, connect them to a mixing console and mix all streams to one stereo input for the podcast server. There are numerous hardware vendors that have both Analogue or Digital solutions. If you want all contributors to hear the others in the return stream, except himself, then be sure the mixing console has a so called <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mix-minus\">mix-minus<\/a> capability.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nowadays there are also software mixers with virtual audio in and outputs, that can handle this on the PC itself. Cheapest option is to use a Virtual Audio interface like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vb-audio.com\/Cable\/index.htm\">VB-Cable<\/a> and route all LUCI STUDIO audio outputs to the shared Audio Cable Input and use the Windows Volume Mixer to set the different volumes . The LUCI STUDIO instance that sends the stream to the Podcast Server can route this mix from the Audio Cable Output. These files can the be combined to a single file with any Audio Editor ( <a class=\"dont-translate\" href=\"https:\/\/www.audacityteam.org\/\">Audacity<\/a> ), do some audio editing and saving it to a single stereo file that you can copy to your PodCast server.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Automate<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LUCI STUDIO has several settings to automate the whole procedure :<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Set &#8220;Auto connect at startup&#8221; in the General options to set LUCI STUDIO ready on start up.<\/li>\r\n<li>Set &#8220;Auto Answer&#8221; when using SIP in the SIP options to accept calls automatic.<\/li>\r\n<li>Set &#8220;Auto Record&#8221; in the Stations setting to record ever incoming stream automatically, files names can have timestamps or sequence numbers.<\/li>\r\n<li>Set &#8220;Play loaded file..&#8221; in the Record options to play a welcome file to every caller<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Both LUCI LIVE and LUCI STUDIO are capable of directly streaming your audio to either a Shoutcast or IceCast server.
