Luci Live for iPhone V 1.0.2
New versions contains some new features and bugs solved.
Features
- AAC-HEV2 stereo codec added.
- Luci Live will now automatically initiate an internet connection when there is none.
Bugs
- MP2 decoder did not work at stereo, only mono
- source port for RTP was always 5002, is now the same as destination port, as normal.

The version available in the App store is the latest 1.0.1 version ( although it says 1.0 in the about screen).
Multi platform developer blog
The developer blog has been rearranged as Luci Live is going multiplatform: Windows, Apple, Android, Meego and Symbian.
As you will see, these pages have changed a bit as Luci Live is going multiplatform: Windows, Apple, Android, MeeGo, Symbian. To the news, iPhone version has update 1.0.1 with some bugfixes and a status update:
Bugfixes:
- There was an audible tick at the start of playing a file.
- Some protocols were not implemented but you still could choose it, now you can only choose protocol that are available.
- Protocol TDA has changed name into RTP, after all it’s standard symmetric RTP.
Status:
1.0 is now “In review” at the app-store. If you however would like to test Luci Live2 on iPhone NOW, please send an email to support@luci.eu. Warning: we have only a limited amount of test-versions available, due to Apple restrictions.
Luci Live2 V1.0 for iPhone App
Luci Live will be released for the iPhone in September 2010.
Luci Live is now submitted for approval in the Apple app-store. We are expecting acceptance in September 2010.

Luci offers better protection against receivers sending back illegal RTP-packets or payload data. You can now receive MP2 streams with 32 khz sample-rate and MP2-LSF.

Luci’s external phonebook improved.
Bug solved:
- When you used an external phonebook using a csv file you could not use the Global RTP/UDP on the stations of the phonebook, it would default to not using Global RTP/UDP settings and jitter-buffer of 0 ms. Here you can download an updated external stations list example which shows how to set the Global RTP/UDP.

Some nice new Luci features have been added.
New features:
- You can remove the menu-bar from the window. Use Setup/Options. When you do this a small down-pointing arrow will appear in the upper left corner that enables you to show and choose the menu-options.
- If you click on the LUCI logo you can switch between the About and GoLive tool quickly.
Bug solved:
- In server mode, if you received a stream from a Smartphone running Live2 and AAC-HE codec, the server would crash.
V2.0 , important update
V 2.0.1 uploaded.
Bug:
- The uploaded version 2.0 created a Logfile. This would impact processor usage a bit. This is now switched off like before. This Logfile will be deleted when you install this new version.
Added:
- Multichannel server-mode is enabled differently now: You may now install Live2 only once and make different shortcuts to start it multiple times. The only thing you must do then is to add the folder where Live2 should run in to the command line of each shortcut. To add a command line change the “Target” in the properties menu of the shortcut. So this would then look like this for instance “D:\Luci Live Two\live2.exe” “D:\Luci Live Two\Server1\”

Here’s another free update, Luci Live Two V2.0. Both platforms, Windows PC and Windows Phone are updated.
Lots of goodies for the professional are added:
- 32-bit internal audio-path.
- 24-bit audio codec ULCC (read more here).
- 24-bit audio recording.
- Sample-rate up to 384 kHz (only for PC).
Some visual enhancements:
- Modern Vista style buttons for Vista and Windows 7
General enhancements:
- You can now load files for playback with different sample-rates as the project.
- Removing a USB audio interface while streaming is now handled better.
- Installation with limited user-rights is now handled better. Especially with Windows Vista and Windows 7.
- 30-day keycode didn’t work in some situations, should work always now.
