Luci Live for Android receives major update

Here is another major free feature update to V 1.3:

Added the Audio editor feature.
Added the upload via FTP feature, also as Broadcast Wave File.
Audio latency is improved a little bit.
Added audio input model of Galaxy S3 for improved audio quality on that phone.
Landscape mode supported on main screen.
Full height of the display is now used on the main screen.
Now it’s not possible to accidentally quit the app while you’re streaming.
Switching on the antenna is now faster in some cases.
Minor bug fixes.

Luci Live for iOS updated to 1.3

New version 1.3 is now available for update through App-store. Changes:

Receive calls with the N/ACIP protocol, press the antenna to wait, press the Mic to pickup a call.
Improved error-messaging for N/ACIP.
Level data will now be part of the recorded wave-file.
Auto load newly recorded file, optional , set in new General Settings.
Renamed Manage Recordings to Edit Recordings.
Automatically scroll to active files in Play From and Edit Recordings.
Tap in level display in editor to set the cursor.
Indication of start and end markers in the editor.
Significantly decreased latency on audio cue with all encoders.

Luci Live, small update for N/ACIP users

For MAC, PC and Andorid there’s a small update 1.2.1 available for users of the N/ACIP protocol:

Some enhancements for N/ACIP, including faster disconnect and connect with a stun-server defined.
1 important bug solved which was introduced in 1.2: with N/ACIP sometimes you had a lot of drop-outs in the signal.

Luci Live for Windows, MAC and Android updated to 1.2

3 Platforms receive an update. Here is what happened, first what’s general across all platforms:

You can set a default folder for recorded files. Configure with Options.
Choosing a new file for recording now only allows you to type a name, the folder is set with the default recording folder option.
With N/ACIP protocol (SIP) you can now be called by the studio. Press the antenna only and Luci will wait for an incoming call. Pick up by pressing the Mic button.
With N/ACIP protocol you can now also define if Luci will will use a different encoder then what the caller requests.
Improved error-reporting with Shoutcast.

Android specific updates:

Many visual improvements for high-resolution displays.
Audio files are now recorded and played from user-definable folder, by default sdcard/Luci is used. Configure with Options.
record 16-bit files instead of 24-bit, so less storage space is used.
When you are called with N/ACIP protocol, notifications and ringtone will appear.
tablets with only Wifi can now be used also.
!! Important, this update will install itself seperately from the last version. It will be called “Luci Live” so, WITH the space. Use your activation-code to activate this new version, you can find this in LuciLive in the about screen. Future version will just replace the old version entirely and keep old settings.

Luci Live for Windows and MAC updated to 1.1.11

Some invisible enhancements have been made for future new editing-features. It’s advised to update to this version in order to be able to better edit audio-files you record now in future versions.

Bug solved:

When you had Record on, Connect Off, you pressed Play and then Stop play, Luci would crash.

Luci Live available now for Android.

Installation,purchase and registration of the software is easy, just like any Luci Live software.

Luci Live for Windows and MAC updated to 1.1.8

New features:

ipv6 support for the RTP protocol.
you can now choose audio files with the .bwf extension for playing.
automatic update check, Luci will warn the user when a new version is available.

Bus solved:

duplicate phonebook names are now handled better.

Luci Live for Windows and MAC updated to 1.1.4

New features:

– some visual enhancements.

– The port N/ACIP uses for SIP can now be set. Just add the :portnr to the server address. So for instance echo@test.com:5070

– You can define a default user to use for N/ACIP. So you can create and load phonebooks without user-information, ie use the same phonebook for many different reporters who each have different user-credentials. Just set the user-name to “Default user” in the phonebook and Luci will use the default user credentials.

Luci Live for Windows and MAC updated to 1.1

New version 1.1 has some nice improvements:

Sample-rate for the outgoing stream can now be set. Dependent of the chosen format, different sample-rates can be set.
The character size of the main display screen is lowered when the name of the station or file can not be displayed completely. Just like in the iPhone version.
Play button now shows the Stop icon when playing instead of the previous Pause icon, this reflects better the function of the button as it really stops playing the file and rewinds to the beginning.
You can now also play files with sample-rates of 16000,24000 and 32000 Hz, in the outgoing stream.

Bugs solved:

When you entered text and pressed TAB to go to the next text field, in some Dialog windows it didn’t jump to the next field.

MAC version Updated

The MAC version of Luci Live is updated to the same UI as the Windows Luci Live Client version. So you will enjoy the benefits of cross-platform compatibility in UI.

As a consequence you will see the version number of the MAC version change from 1.1.12 to 1.0.27 once. But don’t worry, this version contains more features and many new features that are planned for Windows will arrive at the MAC platform at the same time.

Also, this new MAC version is the same as the one in the Mac App Store.
