Depending on having the Monitor functionality switched on in the Audio Selection Dialog the channel strip has a different outlay.
The Fader controls the channels level into the mix, it can also automatically switch the channel into an unmuted/ON state if the option “Fader start on -50 DB” is set.
Without Monitor
MUTE excludes this channel from the Mix.
SOLO excludes all other channels from the Mix hearing only this channel post Fader & Mute.
With Monitor
ON includes this channel in the Mix.
CUE is a pre-fader and pre-ON route to the Monitor Speakers for audible check of the Input Gain. The Mix is unaffected.
TB will switch the Monitors Talk Back Microphone to this channel and the channels input to the Monitor Speakers, excluding it from the mix. Making a private conversation probable.
Connect is a direct Luci Studio control, for Connecting the Instance to its incoming stream. Depending on the functionality of the Luci Studio Instance it will toggle between different states and control functions:

It then shows “Awaiting” and when an incoming stream is received it shows “On Hold” as long as the channel is muted. Unmuted it will show “On Air“, as this stream is now in the Mix. Pressing it in all these conditions, Luci Studio will disconnect.

Local channel strip
The Local channel strip appears when a Local audio input and output are chosen in the Audio Selection Dialog. It has the same layout as previously described, but without the CONNECT button, displaying instead the name of the corresponding Audio Input.
